
Matthias Jobelius has been director of the FES South Caucasus Office since March 2008. Before coming to Georgia, he worked at the FES Country Office India, New-Delhi. Previously, he had assignments with different German Development organisations (GTZ, InWEnt) and the UNDP and gathered work experience in Namibia, South Africa and other countries. Ia Tikanadze has been a director of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung representation in Georgia since 1994. Before joining the FES, she was researcher at the National Relations Research Center at the Academy of Sciences of Georgia. She did research internships at the German Society of Foreign Policy (DGAP) in Bonn in 1993-1994 and at the FES in Bonn in 1991. Ms Tikanadze serves as a consultant for the Institute of Regional Security of the South Caucasus and a member of the advisory Committee of the Eurasia-Partnership-Foundation. Ms Tikanadze has graduated from Moscow Moris Torez Institute of Foreign Languages and Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Western European Languages and Literature.

Project Administrator
Irina Seperteladze is assistant of the co-ordinator of the FES South Caucasus since March 2002. She studied German Languages and Law in Georgia, Germany and Austria and worked at the German Embassy in Tiflis and at the EU-TACIS-Project „Training of the judges in Georgia” before joining FES.
